ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how a short music therapy program can help emergency department nurses at the University Hospital Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá. The goal is to see if music therapy can reduce stress and burnout, improve their quality of life, and enhance the way they care for patients and work with their colleagues. The study will involve both surveys and group discussions to gather information on how the nurses feel before and after participating in the program.
To take part in this trial, nurses must have worked in the emergency department for at least six months and be willing to attend eight music therapy sessions over four weeks. They should also be able to read and understand the questionnaires used in the study. However, staff with untreated mental health issues are not eligible to participate. This study aims not only to support the well-being of nurses but also to strengthen the human connection in patient care.
