ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing new and efficient ways to test for antibodies against various respiratory viruses, especially those that could cause pandemics. Researchers want to create a system that can quickly and accurately measure the body's immune response to both common viruses, like seasonal flu and COVID-19, as well as emerging threats, such as certain types of avian influenza and Zika virus. To do this, they will use special devices to collect blood samples from participants, which will be compared to traditional blood collection methods.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be between 20 and 65 years old. However, if you have a weakened immune system, chronic inflammatory conditions, or have received certain treatments in the past year that affect your immune response, you won’t be able to participate. If you join the study, you'll help researchers improve testing methods that could enhance our preparedness for future viral outbreaks. The trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to provide important insights into how we can better respond to health emergencies.
