ClinConnect Summary
The PRISMA study is a research project that aims to gather important information about pregnancy in women who have certain chronic neurological conditions, like Multiple Sclerosis and Myasthenia Gravis. The goal is to understand how these conditions and their treatments affect both mothers and their babies. Women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or who have recently given birth can participate. The study is open to women aged 18 to 64, and it's fully remote, meaning you can take part from home.
Participants will have the option to provide various samples, like blood or breast milk, at specific times during their pregnancy or after giving birth. There are also online surveys to complete. It’s important to note that participation in sample collection is completely optional, and for blood tests, you can arrange for a professional to come to your home. This study is designed to help improve the understanding of pregnancy in women with these conditions, ultimately aiming to enhance maternal and infant health.
