ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using simulation and podcasts for childbirth education can help pregnant women feel less afraid of giving birth, boost their confidence, and improve their beliefs about having a normal delivery. The researchers want to see if these modern teaching methods can provide better support than traditional classes, especially since many women feel that regular prenatal education doesn’t meet their needs.
To participate in this study, women need to be between 18 and 35 years old, in their 30th to 34th week of a single, healthy pregnancy, and able to understand and communicate in Turkish. They should also be first-time mothers and attend regular pregnancy education classes. Participants will use their phones with internet access to join the training sessions. However, women with certain health issues or mental health diagnoses may not be eligible. This study aims to bring new insights into how education can improve the childbirth experience for women.
