ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a special exercise program called the Vitality Acupunch (VA) that uses a technology called SPOZ. The goal is to see if this six-month exercise program can help improve thinking and perception skills in older adults who have dementia. The study will be conducted in adult daycare centers, where participants can enjoy a supportive environment while taking part in the program.
To join the trial, participants should be at least 65 years old and have a diagnosis of dementia from a doctor or a positive screening result for dementia. However, individuals with serious heart or lung diseases, mobility issues, or spinal cord injuries will not be eligible. If you or a loved one meets the criteria, you can look forward to engaging exercises designed to support cognitive and sensory abilities, all while being part of a caring community. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into improving the quality of life for older adults with dementia.
