ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a new exercise method called Orienteering walking compared to regular walking sessions in patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation. Cardiovascular diseases, which affect the heart and blood vessels, are a leading health concern, causing many hospital visits and deaths. The researchers believe that Orienteering, which involves walking while navigating a course, may provide similar health benefits to regular walking while also being more enjoyable for patients.
To participate in this study, you need to be over 18 years old and have a stabilized heart condition, such as coronary artery disease or heart failure. You should also be enrolled in a cardiac rehabilitation program and able to walk a certain distance. The trial is not currently recruiting participants, but if you join in the future, you can expect to participate in both Orienteering and regular walking sessions, helping researchers understand which method works better for improving your heart health and overall enjoyment of exercise.
