ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to help improve the knowledge of medical residents about acute ischemic stroke, which is a type of stroke caused by a blockage in the blood vessels supplying the brain. The study will involve 22 residents who are currently training in neurology and are directly involved in caring for patients with this condition. They will receive special training focused on diagnosing strokes and differentiating between different types of stroke. After 30 days, their knowledge will be assessed using a specific scoring system.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be residents working in neurology wards and managing patients with acute ischemic stroke. They should not be involved in caring for patients who do not show symptoms of a stroke, nor can they have participated in any similar training programs in the last three months. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to enhance the skills of future doctors in recognizing and treating strokes effectively.
