ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Testicular Evaluation of Azoospermia Using Micro-Ultrasound," is investigating a condition called azoospermia, which means that a man has no sperm in his semen. The study will use a special imaging technique called micro-ultrasound to look closely at the seminiferous tubules in the testes, which are the structures responsible for producing sperm. The goal is to gather information that could help shape future research in this area.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be men over 18 who have been diagnosed with azoospermia through semen analysis. This includes men who have had a vasectomy and confirmed azoospermia afterward, as well as those who have shown natural fertility before a vasectomy. However, men who have previously had surgery on their testes or have certain hormonal conditions will not be able to participate. While the study is not yet recruiting participants, those who take part can expect to undergo micro-ultrasound imaging to help researchers understand more about this condition.
