ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different materials used in dental procedures affect gum health and the strength of dental restorations, specifically during a treatment called gingival margin elevation. The researchers want to see how well these materials—like resin modified glass ionomer and different types of composites—perform in improving the area where the gum meets the tooth. They will look at both how strong the dental work remains and how it impacts gum health.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be between the ages of 18 and 75 and have good oral hygiene, with upper premolar teeth that are not badly damaged. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there’s no need to sign up just yet. If you join, you can expect to have your gum health monitored during the procedure and to help researchers learn more about the best materials for dental treatments.
