ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying post-dialysis fatigue in patients who receive regular hemodialysis, which is a treatment for kidney failure. The goal is to better understand how tired patients feel after their dialysis sessions and to identify factors that contribute to this fatigue. Researchers will use two simple tools to measure fatigue levels: a Visual Analogue Scale, where patients mark their level of tiredness on a line, and a Fatigue Severity Scale, which asks questions about how fatigue impacts daily life. By gathering this information, the trial aims to improve the quality of life for patients undergoing hemodialysis.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be at least 20 years old, have end-stage renal disease, and have been on hemodialysis for more than three months, attending treatment three times a week. They also need to be in stable health and able to attend their dialysis sessions independently. However, individuals with severe heart or brain issues, recent surgeries, serious infections, or certain other medical conditions will not be included. If you decide to participate, you can expect to share your experiences and provide information about your fatigue levels, which will help researchers find better ways to manage this common issue among dialysis patients.
