ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how certain symptoms related to central sensitization, which is when the nervous system becomes overly sensitive, affect thinking and memory problems in people with fibromyalgia. Researchers want to understand if these symptoms make it harder for fibromyalgia patients to think clearly and how these thinking issues relate to the overall severity of their condition.
To participate, individuals need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of fibromyalgia. They also need to be able to read and agree to join the study. If someone has other serious health conditions, such as infections or diseases affecting the brain, or if they are outside the age range, they won’t be eligible. Participants will be asked to share their experiences and may undergo assessments to help researchers understand how fibromyalgia impacts both physical and mental health. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to shed light on the connection between physical symptoms and cognitive challenges in fibromyalgia.
