ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the best ways to teach nursing students how to provide sexual counseling to pregnant women. Researchers want to compare three different training methods: using virtual simulations with computer-generated patients, peer simulations done online, and face-to-face peer simulations. The goal is to see which method helps students improve their counseling skills the most. They will look at various factors, such as how well students communicate and their confidence levels, to understand how effective each teaching approach is.
To participate in this study, students must be able to provide care for pregnant women and agree to join the research. However, those who have taken a break from their education or received formal training in sexual counseling won't be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in different simulation activities, and their experiences will be carefully analyzed to help improve future training for nursing professionals. This study is not currently recruiting participants, but it aims to contribute valuable insights into teaching sexual health counseling.
