ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a new way to help adults with cerebral palsy (CP) improve their movement and daily activities. Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects muscle control and posture, often leading to challenges in mobility. The study aims to enhance motor function through a technique called peripheral somatosensory stimulation, which involves using sensory feedback to stimulate the lower limbs as part of an intensive rehabilitation program. The goal is to help participants gain more independence in their movements and participate more actively in everyday life.

To participate in this study, individuals must be adults aged 18 to 50 who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and have some level of reduced mobility. They should also be able to take part in assessments with the help of a clinical team and understand the study guidelines. However, those with severe cognitive impairments or other serious medical conditions that could affect their participation will not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in rehabilitation sessions that focus on improving their movement abilities, all while being supported by healthcare professionals.
