ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how breathing in molecular hydrogen might affect how our bodies respond to low-intensity exercise, specifically while riding a stationary bike for 30 minutes. The researchers want to see if inhaling hydrogen can change things like heart rate and how hard participants feel they are working during the exercise. The study is aimed at healthy females between the ages of 65 and 74, who do not have major health issues.

To participate in this trial, women must be generally healthy and able to give their consent to join the study. However, those with certain health conditions, like heart or breathing problems, or those taking medications that affect metabolism, cannot take part. If you join, you can expect to engage in some light exercise while inhaling hydrogen, and the research team will monitor your body's responses throughout the session. This trial is not yet open for recruitment, but it could provide interesting insights into the effects of hydrogen inhalation on exercise.
