ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different levels of fresh gas flow during general anesthesia affect the chances of experiencing nausea and vomiting after surgery. Specifically, it involves patients undergoing septorhinoplasty, which is a surgery to improve the nose's appearance and function. Participants in the study will be divided into three groups based on the amount of fresh gas flow they receive: low (0.5 liters per minute), medium (2 liters per minute), and high (4 liters per minute). The researchers will compare how often nausea and vomiting occur in each group after the surgery.
To take part in this trial, patients need to be between 18 and 65 years old and in good health (classified as ASA I or II, which means they are at low risk for surgery complications). Patients who have serious health issues, psychiatric disorders, or who are unable to cooperate or communicate effectively cannot participate. If you join the study, you'll be closely monitored after your surgery to see how well you tolerate anesthesia and if nausea or vomiting occurs. This research aims to find ways to improve recovery experiences for patients after surgery.
