ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new self-testing method for HIV and syphilis using a test called the INSTI Multiplex. The goal is to see how accurate this self-test is compared to the traditional tests usually done in a doctor's office. By validating this self-test, the researchers hope to provide a convenient way for people to check their health at home.
If you're interested in participating, you may be eligible if you fall into one of three groups: first, if you already have a confirmed HIV infection; second, if you have a history of syphilis; or third, if you have no known infections of either HIV or syphilis. To join, you need to be able to understand and speak English. This study is not currently recruiting participants, but it aims to explore how reliable this self-test can be for everyone, regardless of their health history.
