ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a treatment called stellate ganglion block (SGB) to see how well it helps control symptoms in people with a condition known as Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). POTS is a condition that affects how blood flows and can cause symptoms like rapid heartbeat and dizziness, especially when standing up. The trial will look at both the immediate and long-term effects of this treatment in patients diagnosed with POTS to find out if it can be a helpful option for managing their symptoms.

To participate in this study, you need to be an adult over 18 years old who has been diagnosed with POTS and can communicate in English. You'll also need to be able to attend three follow-up visits. However, if you have certain health conditions, such as severe bleeding disorders or ongoing heart issues, or if you're allergic to local anesthetics, you may not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect close monitoring and support during the treatment process to help understand how well it works for you.
