ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a technology called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT), which helps doctors and respiratory therapists better understand how patients' lungs are working, especially in intensive care settings. EIT can provide detailed information about how well the lungs respond to different treatments and settings on ventilators, which can help tailor care to each patient’s needs. However, there are still questions about how best to use and interpret the data from EIT in critically ill patients. The goal of this study is to gather insights from healthcare professionals about their experiences with EIT and to identify any challenges they face when using this technology.
To participate in this study, individuals must be respiratory therapists or part-time respiratory therapy doctors or nurses working in China. They will need to complete an electronic questionnaire about their experiences with EIT. The study is not yet recruiting participants, so it’s important to keep an eye out for when it begins. This research could help improve how EIT is used in hospitals, ultimately benefiting patients who rely on mechanical ventilation.
