ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the benefits of a prenatal exercise program for pregnant women, focusing on how in-person and online exercise sessions impact physical activity, fitness, and healthy lifestyle choices. The goal is to see if exercising during pregnancy can help prevent common health issues like gestational diabetes and anxiety, and to find out whether participating in these sessions in person or online is more effective.
To join the study, pregnant women between 13 and 20 weeks along, aged 18 to 50, who have no serious health issues preventing exercise, are eligible. Participants will take part in two one-hour exercise sessions each week for 12 weeks, which include various activities like aerobic and strength exercises. They will answer questions about their physical activity and lifestyle before and after the program. All resources and participation are free, and the results will help shape future exercise recommendations for pregnant women, contributing to better health outcomes.
