ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a program called "Minds In Motion: The Maze" can help improve balance and walking skills in children with Down syndrome. Children aged 8 to 12 who have the physical and cognitive ability to participate may be eligible to join. The trial is looking for both boys and girls who are generally healthy and do not have serious medical or orthopedic issues. Families will need to give their consent for their child's participation.
Participants in the trial will be randomly placed into two groups: one group will engage in the "Minds In Motion: The Maze" program, which includes fun activities aimed at boosting motor skills, while the other group will not receive this specific intervention. Throughout the study, researchers will assess the children's balance and walking abilities before and after the program. They will also gather feedback from the children, their parents, and instructors to understand how the program affects their daily lives. This research aims to find effective ways to help children with Down syndrome improve their movement skills and become more independent.
