ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how vestibular exercises, which focus on balance and coordination, may help reduce feelings of fatigue in people who have had a stroke. The main question the researchers want to answer is whether these specific exercises can decrease both the tiredness that people feel and the physical signs of fatigue compared to traditional rehabilitation methods. Participants will take part in either a one-hour session of vestibular exercises or conventional rehabilitation three times a week and will be assessed for fatigue levels before and after the programs.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be between 18 and 65 years old, have had a specific type of stroke at least six months prior, and be able to walk with assistance. They should also be able to understand and participate in the assessment process. However, individuals with other serious medical conditions, severe speech difficulties, or certain medications that affect their energy levels or thinking will not be able to take part. This study has not started recruiting participants yet, but it aims to provide valuable insights into effective rehabilitation strategies for stroke survivors.
