ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new type of dental material designed to treat cavities in the back teeth, known as occlusal caries. The goal is to compare two different materials to see which one works better for filling these cavities. The new material is made with special technology that not only provides a strong and durable filling but also has antibacterial properties, which can help prevent further decay.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 65 and 74 years old and have a healthy back tooth with a specific type of cavity (Class I caries). However, if you have symptoms like pain, sensitivity, or if your tooth is not alive or has been previously treated, you won't be eligible to join. If you decide to participate, you will receive care using one of the materials being tested, and you'll help researchers understand which option might be the best for future dental treatments. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but if you're interested, keep an eye out for updates!
