ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods used in rhinoplasty, which is a surgery to reshape the nose. Specifically, it will compare the septal extension graft and the columellar strut graft. Both of these techniques help support the tip of the nose, but they work in different ways. The goal of the trial is to find out which method provides better results for patients who have deformities in the tip of their nose.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be adults over 18 years old and have any type of tip deformity. However, people who have had previous nasal surgery, are pregnant, or have chronic health issues that could affect healing won't be able to join. If you participate in this trial, you can expect to undergo a rhinoplasty procedure using one of the two graft types, and researchers will evaluate the outcomes to see which method is more effective. This study aims to improve surgical techniques and help future patients achieve better results in their nose surgeries.
