ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Oxygen Therapy in Diabetic Kidney Disease," is looking at how oxygen therapy might help people with diabetic kidney disease (DKD). DKD is a serious condition that can lead to end-stage kidney disease, where the kidneys can no longer function properly. This trial aims to explore if providing extra oxygen could improve kidney health in patients who have diabetes and certain levels of kidney damage.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults over 18 years old who have diabetic kidney disease, specifically those with a certain level of kidney function and protein in their urine. Unfortunately, individuals under 18, those with heart disease, chronic lung conditions, or other serious kidney issues, as well as pregnant or nursing women, cannot participate. If someone is eligible and decides to join, they can expect to receive close monitoring and support throughout the study to see how oxygen therapy affects their kidney health. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, so it is still in the planning stages.
