ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on understanding the different types of people who are overweight or obese. In the Netherlands, nearly half of adults are currently living with overweight, and this number could rise significantly in the coming years. Being overweight can lead to serious health problems like heart disease and diabetes, but the reasons behind these weight issues are complex and can include factors like diet, exercise, stress, and even the environment we live in. By examining a large amount of data, researchers hope to identify specific groups of individuals who share similar characteristics, which will help in creating personalized advice and support for managing weight and improving health.

To participate in this study, eligible individuals should have expertise in areas related to obesity, lifestyle, or public health and be able to communicate in Dutch. They will be asked to take part in an online survey or join an expert panel meeting. This research is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather insights that can be used to develop better prevention and care strategies tailored to individual needs.
