ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how lifestyle changes can help men who have obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), metabolic syndrome, and erectile dysfunction. Obstructive sleep apnea is a condition that causes breathing problems during sleep, and it can lead to other health issues, including difficulties with sexual function and metabolic syndrome, which is a cluster of conditions like high blood pressure and obesity. While a common treatment for OSA involves using a CPAP machine that helps keep the airway open during sleep, this study is focusing on whether changing daily habits, such as diet and exercise, can also make a difference for these men.
To participate in the trial, men must be between 18 and 60 years old and have moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea, along with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction and metabolic syndrome. However, men with certain health conditions, like heart disease, mental health issues, autoimmune diseases, or kidney problems, are not eligible to join. Participants can expect to engage in lifestyle modification programs and receive support to help them make healthier choices. This study aims to find out if these changes can improve their overall health and well-being.
