ClinConnect Summary
The Mosaic Trial is a research study designed to see if a special website can help adults with blood cancer who are getting stem cell transplants. The study will compare the experiences of patients using this intervention website to those using a standard educational website. Researchers want to find out if the special website can reduce feelings of distress, improve physical symptoms, and enhance overall quality of life for these patients. Participants will be asked to complete assessments before and after their transplant to measure how they are doing over time.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults aged 18 or older, have a diagnosis of blood cancer, and be scheduled for a stem cell transplant. They should also be comfortable using a website and speak either English or Spanish. Participants will be randomly assigned to use either the special website or the standard one throughout the study. It’s important to note that individuals currently in other distress-related programs or those with severe cognitive issues may not qualify. Overall, this trial aims to understand how using an informative website can support patients during their transplant journey.
