ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a type of exercise called isometric exercise might help people with chronic low back pain feel less pain. Isometric exercises involve tightening muscles without moving the joints, which could potentially increase pain tolerance and reduce the sensation of pain. The trial aims to see if doing these exercises can make a difference in how much pain participants experience right after exercising.
To join the study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and have been experiencing non-specific lower back pain for more than 12 weeks. However, certain individuals, such as pregnant women, those with specific medical conditions (like uncontrolled diabetes or serious spinal issues), or anyone who has had recent surgery, will not be eligible. If chosen to participate, individuals can expect to perform some exercises and provide feedback on their pain levels before and after the activity. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather valuable information that could help improve pain management for people dealing with chronic low back pain.
