ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two different ways to bandage the breast after a minimally invasive biopsy, which is a procedure used to take tissue samples from the breast without major surgery. The traditional method wraps the entire breast tightly, which can cause discomfort, pain, and breathing issues for patients. The new method being tested uses less gauze and focuses on the area where the surgery was done, aiming to make patients feel more comfortable while still ensuring proper healing.

To be eligible for this study, participants need to be women aged 18 to 70 who have a specific type of breast condition (category 3 or 4A on an ultrasound) and are not allergic to medical tape. They should also be in good health without any bleeding disorders or infections. If you participate, you can expect to compare how well these two bandaging methods work in terms of healing, pain levels, and overall comfort after surgery. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it aims to help improve patient care and comfort after breast procedures.
