ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two treatments, injectable platelet-rich fibrin (I-PRF) and concentrated platelet-rich fibrin (C-PRF), on the gums during a specific type of gum surgery called the VISTA technique. The researchers want to see how these treatments can change the thickness of the gums and the width of the healthy tissue around the teeth. This study is currently looking for volunteers who are healthy adults between the ages of 18 and 65, have not had any gum surgery in the past six months, and do not show signs of gum disease.
If you decide to participate, you will undergo a procedure where your dentist will use the VISTA technique, and you will receive one of the treatments being studied. The researchers will carefully measure changes in your gum tissue using both hands-on assessments and digital tools. It's important to know that individuals who smoke, are pregnant, or have certain health conditions that might affect healing are not eligible for the study. This trial is a great opportunity to contribute to dental research and help improve treatments for gum health!
