ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different types of physiotherapy to see how they can help women recover after gynecological surgeries, such as hysterectomy or myomectomy. After these surgeries, many women experience unpleasant symptoms like pain, nausea, and difficulty with bowel movements. The goal of the study is to find out if certain physiotherapy methods can ease these symptoms and improve recovery.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be women aged 18 or older who have had specific types of gynecological abdominal surgery. They will be divided into four groups, where some will receive regular care along with different physiotherapy treatments, such as vagal stimulation, a technique that can help improve bodily functions. Throughout their hospital stay, the researchers will monitor how these interventions affect pain, bowel function, and physical activity. It’s important to note that women with certain health issues or complications won't be included in the study to ensure safety.
