ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how a combination of two medications, ketamine and magnesium sulfate, can help manage pain after surgery for patients having an open rhinoplasty, which is a type of nose surgery. The goal is to see if giving these medications during the surgery can lead to better pain relief after the procedure.

To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between 18 and 65 years old, and both men and women can join. They should be healthy enough to undergo surgery, without serious health issues like heart or lung diseases. If someone has taken pain medications or certain other drugs in the 48 hours before the surgery, they won't be able to participate. Those who qualify will receive the medications during surgery and will be monitored closely to see how well they manage pain afterward. It's important to note that the trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available once it starts.
