ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how breast cancer surgery affects sexual function in young women. Researchers want to understand if and how sexual function changes in these women over the course of a year after their surgery. To do this, participants will answer questions about their sexual health, quality of life, and how they feel about their bodies at several points: before surgery, and then again at 6 weeks, 6 months, and 1 year after.
To participate in this study, women should be scheduled for breast cancer surgery, have been sexually active in the past year, and still be having their menstrual periods. However, those with a history of previous breast cancer surgery, other types of cancer, or relationship issues may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to share your experiences and feelings honestly over the year, which will help researchers better understand the impact of surgery on sexual health for young women.
