ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how advanced computer technology, known as large language models (LLMs), can help improve eye care services in local communities and remote areas. These LLMs are designed to understand and generate human-like language, which can assist in diagnosing eye diseases, suggesting tests, and making referrals for patients who need specialized care. The trial aims to see how well this technology can work in real-life situations, helping to increase access to eye disease screening and treatment where it is needed most.
Anyone of any age and gender can participate in this trial if they are either needing a specialist's help for their eye issues, can be treated at a community level, or do not have any eye problems. Participants will voluntarily agree to take part and will provide written consent. Throughout the study, participants can expect to interact with the technology as it helps guide decisions about their eye health. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it represents an important step towards using technology to enhance eye care for everyone.
