ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a program called Mindfulness Intervention Therapy (MIT) on people who have both chronic insomnia (trouble sleeping) and anxiety. The goal is to see if this therapy can help improve sleep and reduce anxiety symptoms. The trial is currently recruiting participants aged 8 years and older, and it is open to all genders. To join, participants need to have a diagnosis of insomnia and experience anxiety symptoms, but they should not have serious physical or mental health issues or be currently receiving other psychological treatments.
If you or a family member are considering joining this trial, you can expect to participate in sessions that focus on mindfulness techniques, which are ways to help calm the mind and improve sleep. Participants will need to agree to the study and provide written consent, confirming they understand what it involves. This trial aims to find out if MIT can make a positive difference for those struggling with both sleep and anxiety challenges.
