ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two different methods of anesthesia for patients undergoing hemorrhoid surgery. The main goal is to see which method results in less pain after the procedure. Patients will be divided into two groups: one group will receive an ultrasound-guided sacral erector spinae plane block (a type of nerve block) and the other group will receive a saddle block (another type of anesthesia). The doctors will measure pain levels at various times after the surgery and track how much pain medication each patient needs.

To participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old, healthy enough for surgery, and scheduled for hemorrhoid surgery. However, certain conditions, like spinal problems or liver and kidney issues, will prevent you from joining. If you take part, you can expect to have your pain assessed at different intervals after the surgery, helping researchers understand which anesthesia method works best for managing pain. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to improve comfort for patients undergoing hemorrhoid surgery in the future.
