ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to help people with chronic spinal pain, specifically those diagnosed with Persistent Spinal Pain Syndrome Type 2 (PSPS-T2). The researchers want to see if combining a type of brain stimulation called transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) with special exercises can improve pain levels, functionality, and overall mental well-being compared to just doing the exercises alone. This trial is important because many patients with chronic spinal pain have not found relief with standard treatments, and the findings could lead to better, more personalized treatment options.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be at least 18 years old, have experienced chronic pain for over six months, and have a certain level of pain intensity. However, some people may not be eligible, such as those who have had recent surgeries in the abdominal area, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have serious fractures or spinal deformities, or have significant neurological or psychiatric conditions. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather valuable information to help improve care for those suffering from chronic spinal pain.
