ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how the number of "likes" on food advertisements shown on social media, like Instagram, affects what young people choose to buy. The study specifically focuses on Black and White adolescents aged 13 to 17. Researchers want to understand if seeing a lot of "likes" makes these teens more likely to purchase certain foods.
To be eligible to participate, teens must be between 13 and 17 years old, identify as either Black or White, use Instagram daily, and be able to read and speak English. Participants will be asked to take part in activities related to viewing food ads on social media. This trial is currently recruiting, and it's a great opportunity for eligible teens to contribute to research that could help understand how social media influences food choices.
