ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring two different methods for removing small growths called polyps from the colon. The trial is comparing a new tool called a jumbo forceps with a traditional method known as cold snare polypectomy. Researchers want to find out which method works better in completely removing the polyps and if one method is safer than the other. Specifically, they will look at whether the jumbo forceps can reduce complications, improve the rate of successful polyp removal, and decrease the time it takes to perform the procedure.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be at least 18 years old and have at least one polyp that is less than 10 millimeters in size. However, those with certain medical conditions, such as bleeding disorders or inflammatory bowel diseases, cannot participate. If someone is chosen to join the trial, they will be assigned to one of the two methods for polyp removal based on what type of lesion is found. It's important to note that this study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather valuable information about safe and effective ways to treat colorectal lesions.
