ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment for women who have ovarian endometriomas, which are fluid-filled cysts that can cause pelvic pain, heavy periods, and infertility. The treatment involves a procedure called ultrasound-guided aspiration and sclerotherapy. This means that doctors will use sound waves to guide a needle to drain the cyst and then inject a substance to help the cyst shrink. This approach aims to reduce the risk of damaging healthy ovarian tissue while treating the problem.
Women who may be eligible to participate in this trial should have an endometrioma that is between 25 to 100 millimeters in size. However, they should not have other medical issues causing infertility, such as problems with sperm, ovulation, or the uterus. If you join the study, you can expect close monitoring and care from the research team as they explore the effectiveness of this treatment. Your participation could help improve options for women dealing with endometriomas in the future.
