ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how music can help children and teens stay focused during a specific eye test called a visual field exam, which is important for checking their eye health when they have glaucoma. The study aims to see if listening to music makes it easier for young patients to pay attention during this test, which could make the experience better for them.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between the ages of 2 and 18 and have glaucoma or be suspected of having it. However, children who have had recent eye surgery or do not speak English cannot participate. If a child is eligible and chooses to take part, they can expect to listen to music while undergoing the visual field exam, and researchers will observe if this helps improve their attention during the test. This study is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a great opportunity for families to be involved in research that could benefit kids with glaucoma in the future.
