ClinConnect Summary
The "Just ACT for Student Well-being" trial is a study looking at a new program designed to help young people manage stress and improve their mental health. Since many psychological issues start during the teenage years, this program aims to guide young individuals in living according to their personal values, which can support their overall well-being. The program will be brief and focuses on prevention, giving youths tools to handle challenges they may face.
To participate, you need to be 35 years old or younger and be able to read and speak Chinese. However, individuals with certain mental health conditions, like psychosis or bipolar disorder, or those who have had recent thoughts of suicide, will not be eligible to join. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, those selected will have the chance to learn valuable skills to help them navigate the stresses of adolescence.
