ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to help people who avoid health information, specifically about colorectal cancer screening. The researchers want to find out if a special video can encourage people to get screened for colorectal cancer, especially those who usually steer clear of such messages. They will compare this video to a different one that doesn’t focus on colorectal cancer to see which one better motivates people to consider screening.
To be part of this trial, you need to be between 45 and 75 years old, have never been diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and not be following the recommended guidelines for screening. The goal is to include people who tend to avoid information about colorectal cancer. If you participate, you can expect to watch one of the two videos and share your thoughts on whether it makes you more likely to get screened. This trial is important because finding effective ways to communicate health information can help save lives by encouraging screenings that many people might otherwise overlook.
