ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help people stick to their statin medications, which are important for reducing the risk of heart disease. Many patients find it hard to take their medications regularly, so this study will test a program that uses fun, game-like elements and support from nurses over the phone or online to encourage better adherence to taking statins.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old, have a primary care doctor at Ascension, and have been prescribed statins in the past year but may not have taken them consistently. They should also be comfortable with receiving messages on their mobile phone or email. If you join the trial, you’ll receive support and resources designed to make it easier to follow your medication plan. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to improve how well people manage their heart health through better medication adherence.
