ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to see if listening to classical music in the Emergency Room (ER) waiting area can help patients and their families feel like they are waiting for a shorter time and improve their overall experience. When patients and their relatives arrive at the ER, they will either listen to live classical music, recorded classical music, or no music at all while they wait to be seen by a doctor.
To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and waiting for medical care in the ER, and you will need to give your consent to join the trial. However, if you are in a critical condition that requires immediate medical attention, you won't be able to participate. If you take part in this study, you can expect a calming environment with music, which might help ease the stress of waiting for care.
