ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how different root canal sealers affect pain after root canal therapy for patients with irreversible pulpitis, which is a serious tooth condition. The study will involve 62 patients who meet specific criteria, such as being healthy males aged 20-40 with a permanent first molar that has irreversible pulpitis but no swelling. Those who participate will be randomly assigned to receive one of two types of sealers during their treatment.
Participants can expect the procedure to be done under local anesthesia, meaning they won’t feel pain during the treatment. After the root canal, they will be asked to keep a pain diary for a week to record any discomfort they feel, using a simple scale from 0 (no pain) to 10 (severe pain). This will help the researchers understand which sealer results in less post-treatment pain. It's important for participants to attend follow-up appointments and provide written consent before joining the trial.
