ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at children with a condition called esophageal atresia, which means their esophagus didn't develop properly. The study aims to understand how this condition affects their breathing, muscle strength, exercise ability, fatigue, and overall quality of life compared to healthy children. By comparing these aspects in both groups, researchers hope to learn more about the challenges faced by children with esophageal atresia and how to improve their health and well-being.
To participate in the study, children must be between 6 and 18 years old and willing to take part in various assessments. Children with esophageal atresia will be included if they can cooperate with the tests. Healthy children can also join but must not have any chronic health issues or recent lung infections. Participants can expect to undergo tests that measure their physical abilities and overall health, which will help researchers gain valuable insights into the effects of esophageal atresia. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's an important step toward better understanding and supporting children with this condition.
