ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special program called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-based psychoeducation can help caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease. Caregivers often face significant emotional and physical challenges as they provide care, and this study aims to understand how we can better support them. The researchers want to see if this program can help caregivers build resilience, cope with stress, and even experience personal growth despite the difficulties they face.
To participate in this trial, caregivers need to be at least 18 years old, have been taking care of someone with moderate to advanced Alzheimer's for at least a year, and be a member of the Denizli Alzheimer Association. They should also be able to communicate well and have completed at least primary school. The program is not yet open for enrollment, but once it is, participants can expect to engage in educational sessions that provide tools and support to help them manage their caregiving role more effectively. It's important to note that caregivers who have already taken part in similar educational groups or have a mental health disorder may not be eligible for this study.
