ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well parents understand first aid techniques for choking and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in infants under one year old. The goal is to see if parents feel confident in handling emergencies and to find out what factors might affect their knowledge. The study will include surveys and hands-on training sessions, which can take place in person or online, to help parents learn these important skills.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be parents or legal guardians of infants under one year old and be at least 18 years old. It’s important that they are willing to take part in the first aid training and can attend the training sessions. However, those with advanced first aid knowledge or health conditions that might prevent them from participating will not be included. By joining this trial, parents will gain valuable skills that could help them respond effectively in case of an emergency involving their baby.
