ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how to improve a mobile app called Wysa, designed to help middle-aged and older adults who have chronic pain along with symptoms of depression or anxiety. The researchers want to refine the app's notifications to enhance the user experience for those dealing with these challenges. If you are 45 years or older and have been experiencing chronic pain most days for at least the past three months, along with moderate to severe symptoms of depression or anxiety, you might be eligible to participate.
As a participant, you would download the Wysa app and use it as you normally would for several weeks. At the beginning and end of this period, you’ll complete short surveys about your mood, pain, physical function, and sleep. Some participants may also be invited to join a casual interview at the end of the study to share their experiences with the app, but this is completely optional. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, and it is important to note that you must have access to a mobile device and live in the United States to qualify.
